Our Story
Joey Claybar grew up on construction sites. His grandfather founded Claybar Concrete Products. His father ran a ready-mix plant. By the time Joey started Claybar Construction with a single bulldozer, he'd already spent a lifetime learning what makes a foundation hold.
With that knowledge in his blood, Joey Claybar started Claybar Construction with a single bulldozer and his father's guidance. Through steady work and word of mouth, he grew the company into a trusted name for demolition, land clearing, and site preparation across Orange, Beaumont, Port Arthur, and surrounding communities.
The Claybar legacy began with Ambrose Claybar, Sr., who founded Claybar Concrete Products. His sons—Ambrose Jr. and James—expanded the family business into a ready-mix concrete plant, deepening the family's expertise in foundations, compaction, and the science of building that lasts.
Today, Joey is teaching the trade to his two boys—the fourth generation learning on real job sites. It's more than a business; it's a family tradition of doing the job right.
